| How can I find SkyJUMP HQ? |
SkyJump is located 192 metres off the ground at Auckland’s famous Sky Tower, on the corner of Federal and Victoria Streets, Auckland City. Click here to see a Google Map including driving directions to Sky City.
Once at the Sky Tower, take escalators DOWN to check in at ‘SkyJump Mission Control’, located underground in the base of the Sky Tower. We’ll escort you to Level 53 (!!) where you will be given a full safety briefing before embarking on your adventure… |
| How safe is SkyJump? |
- SkyJump is OSH approved and very rigorous safety standards are upheld
- SkyJump is an adventure activity with a very low real risk but very high perceived risk
- Jumpers are fitted into a flying suit and a very comfortable, full body harness

| Could I drop something over the side accidently? |
| No chance! During your SkyJump experience you wear a coverall type suit that prevents objects from being released. We also check you for objects like coins etc during the gear-up process to ensure you don't carry any loose items. |
| Are there any limitations or restrictions to the SkyJump experience? |
- SkyJump is designed to carry a maximum weight of 130kg
- There is a minimum age of 10, but no maximum age - in fact our oldest jumper to date is an 86 year old woman!!
- People with heart problems should consult their physician
You don’t have to bring anything with you, as we provide all equipment. But we do need you to wear suitable shoes. Loose-fitting footwear is not acceptable as we don’t want to see your jandals flying over Auckland city or hitting innocent pedestrians! |
| I’ve already done the SkyWalk – is the SkyJump just as scary? |
The SkyJump is terrifying, but absolutely exhilarating!

| How much time do I need? |
From check-in at Mission Control to waving our team goodbye with a huge smile on your dial, the SkyJump experience takes around 30 minutes.
Your friends and family are welcome to come along to watch you as you complete your SkyJump. We will take them out to the landing platform (for no charge) where we can tell them exactly when you will be jumping. This is the best viewing spot. |
| What are your operating days and times? |
| SkyJump is open from 10.00am to 5.30pm every day of the year (wind and weather permitting), except Christmas Day, December 25th. |
